I have to remind myself to calm down when I find myself getting angry at the person I’m talking on the phone with because they can’t hear me. It’s not their fault. Reception sucks. A truck is passing by. Someone is talking loud in the background. Still, all I can think is, “What the fuck? Why can’t you hear me? Why do you keep making me repeat myself? I fucking hate you and your mother!”
